RIZON Truck

RIZON is a commercial electric truck brand developed and manufactured by the Daimler Truck Group, a global leader in the transportation industry.  RIZON offers class 4-5 cab chassis with various wheelbase and battery size options.  Manage RIZON dealership relationships, host local marketing events and support vehicle demonstrations for the western half of the US.

Hyzon Motors

Hyzon Motors designs and sells fuel cell electric powertrains for heavy duty commercial vehicles.  Managed all local marketing efforts including industry events and meetings.  Developed financing and insurance partnerships.  Developed first authorized Hyzon dealership.  Enrolled Hyzon in the HVIP, ISEF and Carl Moyer funding programs.  Sold the first 10 Hyzon trucks in North America valued at over $5 million and secured over $3.5 million of subsidies from the state of California.

ZEV Ride & Drive Event at the Port of Long Beach

Founder and organizer of a grass roots effort to introduce zero emission vehicles and support equipment to heavy duty vehicle operators.  Worked with the Harbor Trucking Association and the Port of Long Beach to facilitate a first of its kind event.  Over thirty heavy duty vehicle OEMs, equipment and supporting services companies exhibited.  More than 650 truck owners and operators attended the one-day event.

ZEV Ride & Drive Event at Dignity Health Sports Park

Continued the success of the first ride & drive event, organized a second event in Los Angeles at the Dignity Health Sport Park.  Worked with the Harbor Trucking Association, Calstart and Southern California Edison to support the event.  Over 500 exhibitors and fleet operators attended the event.

Zeus Electric Chassis

Zeus Electric Chassis is a battery electric class 5/6 truck OEM based in Minnesota.   Set up distribution with commercial truck dealerships, partnerships with truck body building companies.  Organized a marketing tour of California with stops including Southern California Edison, CTEC Truck Body, Phenix Truck Body, Caltrans, Sacramento Municipal Utility District, East Bay Utility Municipal District, and the Fleet Forward Conference.  Managed trade show events such as ACT Expo.  Advised on modifying design of axles, battery packs, vehicle height and ride which have all  been incorporated into latest vehicle design.

SEA Electric

Sea Electric is a technology company that designs and sells electric drive systems for class 3-8 commercial vehicles..
Fitted a demo vehicle with a custom truck body and promotional signage. Introduced it at trade shows, public agency events, truck dealerships and direct to end users.  Set up Tom's Truck Center as the first distributor. Within a 60-day period, sold 40 electric trucks valued at over $5 million, the first SEA vehicles in North America.  Subsequently, secured distribution with RWC Group, TEC Equipment and C&M Motors.

TerraDrive

TerraDrive was a project to design, source components and build an electric powertrain on an existing class 4 Isuzu NPR truck  for under $50,000.  We installed a UQM 160 kw traction motor with a fixed gear transmission, LFP batteries, various low voltage motors and pumps for steering and brakes and AEM (Holly) control electronics.  See more information on the build at www.terradrive.org.
